A father of three grown children, DuWayne is an orthopedic trauma surgeon of 20+ years with a keen interest in understanding the relationship between oxidative stress and its impact on health and disease. Though DuWayne continues in the practice of orthopedics, he remains passionate about treating illness through dietary and lifestyle changes. He is constantly driven by a strong desire to make things logically make sense in medicine, life, and with God. Although DuWayne has been a lifelong Christian, what he knew about God did not always make sense. A different understanding of God has made God so much more real and has answered his questions.
