Atlas of viticulture and wine production of Bosnia and Herzegovina is a monograph dealing with various aspects of grape growing and grape and wine production in Bosnia and Herzegovina, from the earliest times to the present. The topics covered in the book are: the origin of vines and its spread to the world, the history of the viticulture of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the conditions of production with the zoning of vineyards, the winemaking of Bosnia and Herzegovina from the earliest times to the present, the wine brands of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the strategy of viticulture and winemaking development, viticultural and wine events, viticultural and winemaking associations, religious views of grapevine and wine, grapevine varieties in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and ampelographic characteristics of Bosnian-Herzegovinian varieties. There is also a pictorial portrait of 35 autochthonous grape varieties. An integral part of the text is statistical data on the production of grapevine, grapesand wine, as well as on the trade of wine. The monograph is illustrated with appropriate maps and numerous photographs showing the richness of the vineyard heritage of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
