Research titled Attitude of the higher secondary students towards life skills. Attitudes towards life skills and their educational and vocational aspirations in the context of higher secondary students. With a focus on understanding how attitudes towards life skills. Life-skills are a set of abilities, attitudes and socio-emotional competencies that enable individuals to learn, make informed decisions, exercise rights to lead to healthy and productive life and subsequently become agents of change. For the present study the investigator selects 260 higher secondary students in Vellore District in Tamilnadu by the method of random sampling. It analyzed variables such as gender, locality of school, type of management, parental qualification and parental occupation. The study utilized Attitude Scale by N.S. Chauhan and Saroj Aurora, Meerut. Life skills Assessment Scale (2014) by Dr R. Subashree and Dr A. Radhakrishnan Nair was adopted in the present study. The findings of the study imply there is significant relationship found between attitude and life skills of higher secondary students.
