This project provides a comprehensive guide to researchers and other stakeholders whose work are linked directly with HIV/AIDS cases. The project sought to find out the attitude of university students towards the HIV/AIDS pandemic. In addition, the project looked at the socio-economic impact of the HIV/AIDS pandemic with the university student in mind.It was revealed in the study that despite the high prevalence rate of HIV/AIDS, university students still keep more than one sex partner and feel shy to purchase condom during sexual intercourse. A key recommendation was that students should be educated on the consequences of keeping more than one sex partner. Again, it was recommended that condom be distributed freely to students who cannot control their sex drive to curb the wide spread of the pandemic. A finally recommendation was that university students should adopt a more positive attitude towards their peers living with the HIV virus.
