Code switching (CS) or the alternation of languages by bilinguals has attracted an enormous amount of researchers' attentions. Although many empirical and theoretical studies have been done in CS field, there have not been adequate studies in Iranian bilingual settings. Furthermore, studying on students' attitudes toward CS from personality traits (PT) perspective is completely a new topic all around the world. Based on a comprehensive survey of the literature, no similar study could be found in Iran and the world except for two research papers in non-educational setting in abroad. Due to this critical gap in CS, this book focused on the relationship between MA EFL students' PT including extraversion, agreeableness, conscientiousness, neuroticism, and openness to experience sub-scales and their attitudes toward teachers' CS behavior in Urmia, Iran. In addition, the overall attitudes of students toward teachers' CS behavior were discussed. This book as a completely unique researchin educational setting can help bilingual English teachers to reflect on their CS behavior, and also provides researchers and students with a coherent and up-to-date survey in this significant area.
