As a recruiter for an organization, have you ever telephoned a candidate and asked why the candidate withdrew themselves from an employment process? Probably not. Consequently, this is the reason why this book was published. Candidate feedback will provide invaluable information in order to assist in moving a candidate from one process towards an employment offer. Without an employment offer acceptance, the organization has failed to collect the return on any monies spent in order to attract the right candidate to the organization. From the moment of application, throughout various forms of applicant - employer communication, the interview, and any interaction between these stages, employers are vulnerable to candidates' aborting the employment process prematurely. Most times those factors that contribute to a candidate leaving an employment recruitment process were preventable. The aim of this research was to provide information by exploring the phenomenon participants experienced during recruitment processes and its relationship to the continuation in the employment process. The study results revealed that employers should regularly evaluate and identify those elements in the employment recruitment process that do not facilitate a candidate's movement towards employment offer. This book identifies elements of the employment recruitment process that should be reviewed by employers.
