The book mainly focuses on the comprehensive systematic study of the microstructure-defect behaviors and compositional-structure-property relation of the bismuth titanate based layer structured materials. This book is useful to design and explore novel compounds of Aurivillius family and to study deeply and carefully their multifunctional properties like structural, morphological, dielectric, magnetic and conduction behaviors of these Aurivillius compounds. The novel Aurivillius phases and the effect of different ionic radii substitutions on A-site, B-site and both AB-site of even and odd layer structured compounds shall open a new horizon to probe the structural-properties relation of these Aurivillius materials.

Dr. Fida Rehman is a well renowned scientist born in Pakistan and did his Ph.D (Materials Physics) with distinction from Beijing Institute of Technology, China.
