Aurivillius compounds are a kind of layered Bi-containing perovskite-related oxides. Its unique layered structure makes the compounds exhibit a variety of excellent physical and chemical properties. The book mainly focuses on the comprehensive systematic study of the microstructure-defect behaviors and compositional-structure-property relation of the bismuth titanate based layer structured materials.
