Basically, the researchers have advanced that these species possessed tooth fossil samples which indicate that their diet was based on plants which contain heavy levels of 4 carbon atoms (which is found in grasses). In-depth research have demonstrated that the mysterious human ancestry which is a 3-million-year- old member of the human evolutionary family, had developed a particular taste for sedges (flowering plants and grasses). Moreover, many researchers have found that the Australopithecus bahrelghazali might have also consumed underground tubers, bulbs, stems and above-ground stems of sedges such as the papyrus. Researchers have revealed that these early homininis appear to have consumed more than even the baboons.
