Helen Foster James is Adjunct Professor of children's literature at San Diego State University, California and is a member of the American Library Association's Publications Committee. She has organized hundreds of author visits throughout the San Diego area, and has been involved with the Greater San Diego Reading Association's Author's Fair for almost twenty years.
