Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) are developmental disorders that affect individuals at different levels - behavioral, linguistic and social - and in different magnitudes (APA, 2013). Given the exponential increase in diagnoses (APA, 2013), it is essential to in(train) and raise awareness among the general population and specifically among those who are directly or indirectly related to these individuals.
