Auto Electricity and Electronics is a valuable resource to prepare students for the ASE Education Foundation Test A6, Electrical/Electronic Systems, and for success as automotive technicians. This comprehensive resource teaches the design, operation, and diagnosis of starting, charging, ignition, lighting, and other major systems. The text stresses the use of on-board diagnostics, as well as conventional meter tests, to find electrical, electronic, and computer-related problems. A chapter on advanced diagnostics covers the latest equipment and techniques used to locate problems. This new edition features an exciting new design, and new images have been incorporated throughout the text to show the latest tools, equipment, and diagnostic techniques. The new Table of Contents follows a logical progression, with the service and repair chapters now immediately following the corresponding theory chapters. -A new Shop Talk feature located at the beginning of each chapter explains why the material covered in the chapter is relevant to the study of auto electricity and electronics. New chapters 31 and 32, Battery Electric Vehicles and Battery Electric Vehicle Diagnosis and Repair, provide detailed coverage of these important topics. * The text correlates to the Electrical/Electronic Systems section of all three levels of the 2024 ASE Education Foundation Task List (MLR, AST, and MAST). * A full chapter on on-board diagnostics details OBD II systems and emphasizes the use of scan tools to help pinpoint computer system problems.Hinweis: Dieser Artikel kann nur an eine deutsche Lieferadresse ausgeliefert werden.
