Chris Johanson has been involved in the automotive service industry as a technician, an instructor, and an author. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Arts Education and has written several books on the subject of automotive technology. Mr. Johanson is an ASE-Certified Master Technician and also has ASE Certifications in Advanced Engine Performance, Light Vehicle Diesel Engines, Light-Duty Hybrid Electric Systems, Refrigerant Recovery and Recycling, Auto Maintenance and Light Repair, and Undercar Specialist Exhaust Systems. George Patchoros has 20 years of experience in the automotive industry working as a master technician and instructor. Since 2007, Mr. Patchoros has been an Assistant Professor with the Automotive Program at Bronx Community College in New York City. He also serves in the Department of Engineering, Physics, and Technology as the Assessment Coordinator and Deputy Chairperson. In addition to achieving a Bachelor of Science Degree in Secondary Education from SUNY Oswego and a Master of Arts Degree in Grant Management from Concordia University at Chicago, he graduated top in his class from Wyoming Technical Institute and is an ASE-Certified Master Automobile Technician who also holds the Auto Maintenance and Light Repair (G1) ASE certification. Mr. Patchoros has authored multiple technical training articles that have appeared in automotive industry magazines and online. He is also credited with writing three peer-reviewed manuscripts associated with Program Assessment. These peer-reviewed assessment manuscripts have led to multiple programs within the Department of Engineering, Physics, and Technology at Bronx Community College receiving full accreditation from their respective industry governing bodies. Currently, he is developing the course curriculum for the City University of New York's (CUNY) only electric vehicle technology program. Prior to his tenure at Bronx Community College, Mr. Patchoros worked for 7 years as a Master Volkswagen and Audi technician, as well as a high school social studies teacher.
