Christen recibió su B.A. de la Universidad de Texas en 2005, y su maestría en Psicología Educativa en 2009. Christen actualmente trabaja como pasante en el Hospital de Niños Primarios y se graduará con un doctorado. en Psicología de la Educación en 2012.
