After dropping out of a degree in Automotive and Motorsport engineering, Londoner S.S. Collins went on a mission to write a clear and easy-to-use guide to getting started in motorsport (How to Get started in Motorsport ). Currently Collins is working in the commercial section of  he voice of British Motorsport that is the weekly newspaper Motorsport News. Collins is also a regular on entry lists as he competes in sprints, hillclimbs, races, rallies and trials.  Gavin Ireland is an award-winning photographer with a passion for endurance racing and the romantic past of motor sport, as shown by his stunning photography for the books Autodrome and Speedway, also published by Veloce. Introduced to Le Mans in time to see the last of Audi's three consecutive works victories with the R8, Gavin has since photographed the event four times. He won the Renault/MSA Young Photographer of the Year award in 2005, partly for his coverage of Scuderia Ecosse's Le Mans debut with the Ferrari 360 Modena.
