Technological development and innovation are activities that strengthen the agricultural sector, mainly due to the fact that they facilitate and improve the living conditions of the people who benefit from cocoa cultivation. Thus, through the design of experiments and statistical analysis, the design, development and validation of five technological components were carried out, aimed at implementing a functional automated greenhouse prototype, which integrates the implementation of electronic instrumentation and control systems, telecommunications and electromechanical systems; to provide a strategy to increase the productivity of the cocoa trade. The design of a greenhouse built completely in PVC, the creation of certified precision electronic instrumentation integrated in remote wireless terminal units, and the development of automatic controllers for the CO2, humidity and temperature variables, referring to the microclimate of a greenhouse, are all highlighted.
