The objective of sustainable manufacturing can only be achieved if a there is a system that is able to measure sustainability of a manufacturing process or a product. An energy intensive manufacturing process is a good candidate for the study of sustainability. Die-casting is one such process. Therefore, the present research deals with determination of Sustainability. of a die casting part at its design stage.

Il Dr. Chandan Deep Singh lavora come professore assistente presso il dipartimento di ingegneria meccanica dell'Università di Punjabi, Patiala. Ha completato il dottorato di ricerca in ingegneria meccanica nel 2016. Ha all'attivo circa 60 pubblicazioni su varie riviste internazionali e ha guidato circa 30 studenti per la tesi di M.Tech.
