Computers have grown to become essential in the operations of business, engineering and research. In recent years, computers play a synergic role and made a significant impact in the area of design and manufacturing. Computer Aided Design (CAD) involves any type of design activity, which makes use of the computer to develop, analyze or modify an engineering design. Modern CAD systems are based on interactive computer graphics design system where the user is the designer. The designer deals with the concept of the design involving a thought process and uses the computer to transform the ideas to a visual form. There are several advantages of implementing a computer aided design system. Firstly, it increases the productivity of the designer.
