Quality control is one of the important factors in the marketing of agricultural harvesting. Most of the current grading machines operate based on machine vision systems to detect blemishes and defects of products. One of the great blemishes in potatoes is physiological skin defects which have a negative influence on the human health. In this Book, some computer vision algorithms have been developed in order to detect physiological skin defects of potato tubers for improving the speed and the accuracy. The book attempts to collect different steps of using soft computing methods in the quality inspection of the potato tubers.
