We focus a centralized system that efficiently manage and directs taxis request to taxis drivers to their destinations of customer. In order to provide a safe means of traveling, we suggest that such a system needs to be implemented. The system on getting the request of taxi from customer through SMS (short message service) with details of current and destination location. The system would provide the driver with details of customer for communication and calculate the fare for reliability. Also, the system would be able to assign driver to customer on request. The system would also maintain a record of all the taxis drivers,customer and their relevant information.We propose an automatic taxi trip sensing and indication system through GSM for on desktop as well as for mobile application. The taxi and customer would have a GSM enabled mobile device which would assist in communication with the centralized system. This would be effective in case of accidents and/or emergencies.
