Autorenporträt
Sabina Jeschke ist seit Juni 2009 Direktorin des Institutscluster IMA/ZLW & IfU der RWTH Aachen University, Fakultät für Maschinenwesen. Sie studierte Physik, Informatik und Mathematik an der Technischen Universität Berlin. Nach Forschungsaufenthalten am NASA Ames Research Center/Kalifornien und am Georgia Institute of Technology/Atlanta promovierte sie 2004 über 'Mathematik in Virtuellen Wissensräumen'. Nach einer Juniorprofessur (2005-07) an der TU Berlin, verbunden mit Aufbau und Leitung des Medienzentrums, leitete sie von Mai 2007 bis Mai 2009 den Lehrstuhl für IT Service Technologien (IITS) in der Elektrotechnik der Universität Stuttgart und war gleichzeitig Direktorin des zentralen Rechenzentrums der Universität RUS.
