In this book, we will focus on the so-called sequential automation. It is clear that this automation is very much linked to the industry. Many textile manufacturing processes, from simple operations to very complex operations involved, for example, in the textile industry are currently automated. CNC machines and robots are currently used to carry out complex manufacturing processes automatically. Case studies are also introduced from the garment, fabric and finishing industries. The examples presented cover the analysis of the systems to be automated, as well as the steps to be followed to properly program the industrial procedures.
