The book presents a semi-automatic Dispatch system for an open pit mine; this system will consist of a network of sensors and an information transport device that will be processed automatically by the DispatchMining application that we have designed on Netbeans. For the implementation of the system, it is necessary to know the number of machines available by calculating analytically their yields. These results will allow us to design a dispatch management application within the mine on the basis of the mine's cartography. We have carefully chosen the location of sensors to collect information on the traffic of the machines. Two types of sensors were chosen: the photoelectric position sensor to identify the traffic of the machines and the force sensor to identify the volume transported by the skips. A data acquisition and transmission chain is established between the sensors and the dispatch center where the data will be processed by the DipatchMining application that we have designed.
