Autorenporträt
Dr. George Betts was Professor Emeritus at the University of Northern Colorado and Past President of the National Association for Gifted Children. He was the founder and former director of the Center for the Education and Study of the Gifted, Talented, and Creative, as well as the founder and former director of the Summer Enrichment Program (SEP). As the director of educational programming in the Douglas County School District in Colorado, Dr. Robin Carey facilitated the areas of English language development, gifted programming, and literacy interventions. Robin earned her Ph.D. in Educational Administration and Policy Studies from the University of Denver, where she focused her dissertation research on the effective utilization of the Response to Intervention framework to meet the needs of all learners, with a lens for gifted learners. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Special Education: Teaching the Gifted and Talented from the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley and a Bachelor of Arts degree in K-12 Public School Music from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN.
