Brittney Dias is an author, speaker, and founder. Born in Tacoma, Washington, she spent many rainy days inside, reading. As the daughter of an educator, she quickly grew a passion for encouraging the next generation. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from the University of Washington where she learned strategies for how to empower vulnerable communities. She has experience in research, start-up spaces, and DE&I strategy. In 2021 she co-founded Looking Lens, a company that creates stories that empower and inspire Black & Brown children. The Ava & Mae series is her first published work. Brittney creates online content under @booksbybrittd where she documents her experience as an entrepreneur.
