The project were completed between October, 2013 to March, 2014 in Baran district at different wetlands as Bilasi Dam, Gopalpura Dam, Kishanpura Dam, Bethly Dam, Hinglot Dam, Manihara Wetland, Heekar Dah, Kachri Wetland, Pokhra Wetland etc. During the project period 58 wetlands were studies for the observing avian fauna. The Baran district has good diversity of avian fauna. The total number of avian fauna species observed in study area was 200, in which 43 migratory, 50 resident-migratory and 107 resident bird species.
