Paul Silva Jr is a Junior Professor at the University of Cologne. He previously held positions at Monash University and the University of Pennsylvania, and he took his PhD from the University of Connecticut. His work centers on issues in the theory of knowledge and rationality, and he has published numerous papers in leading international journals such as Philosophy and Phenomenological Research, Philosophical Studies, the Australasian Journal of Philosophy, Synthese, Erkenntnis, and the Pacific Philosophical Quarterly.
