Autorenporträt
Yusimi Reyes. I was born on Cuba on the south side in Las Tunas, 12 hour away from Habana, my father Isidro Reyes Asian and a biologist on plants and my mother Ofelia Leyva is economic both still residents on Cuba. I am an American citizen. A single mother of two and I have been living here for 20 years. I love writing and drawing and doing illustrations. I wrote this poem with the idea to bring positive to children and adults. I enjoy inspired and being inspired. I work as a Pharmacy Technician and I am also a student at the University of Houston and I am inspiring to study Pharmacy Research, I want to be able to discover new medications. I enjoy sharing my love to you while you read this poem with an open heart.
