Autorenporträt
Dr. André Lapierre Pardo, also known as Bob Lapierre, is a distinguished thespian and prolific author with a repertoire spanning various genres, including drama, tales, history, legend, folklore, and mythology. His primary dedication lies in the explicit preservation and conservation of Ayitian cultural heritage. As a seasoned playwright-director, Bob excels at crafting first-class theatrical presentations and contributing to cultural forums. With an academic journey culminating in a Ph.D., Bob's expertise extends beyond theatre, encompassing degrees in AA, BA, MA, and a fervent commitment to education. While his aspiration to become the Minister of Culture in his birthplace faced challenges due to politics and incompetence, Bob's passion for cultural preservation remains unwavering.Prior to his arrival on US soil, he was armed with a BS degree as a medical tech. Up to the present, Bob has spent four decades in the classroom as a dedicated professor. His commitment to education is reflected in his written works, where he imparts knowledge, shares cultural insights, and safeguards neglected aspects threatened by the Dynamics of Ignorance.Notably, Bob extends his literary prowess to children's books, including Ayiti's cherished stories like the timeless classic "TEZEN" and a collection of invaluable titles like "Bouki ak Malis." Through his writings, Bob not only educates but also contributes to the preservation of Ayiti's cultural legacy for future generations.
