Dr Caspar Addyman is a developmental psychologist and director of the Goldsmiths InfantLab. He is interested in how babies adapt to the world and how we support their learning. Over the course of his career, he has investigated early concept learning, the foundations of language, time perception and sleep, and of course, the importance of laughter and positive emotion in early life - research that culminated in Caspar's joyful and informative book, The Laughing Baby. Not only does Caspar write about babies, but he also writes for babies with his fabulous Babies Laugh books.
