Autorenporträt
Dr. Laura Gehl holds a B.A. in psychology from Yale University and a Ph.D. in neuroscience from Georgetown. She has nearly twenty years of experience teaching and writing about science for elementary, middle, and high school students. Her career has included editing the award-winning educational periodical Science Weekly (grades K-6) and writing about science for clients such as the American Diabetes Association, the New York Academy of Sciences, and the National Academy of Sciences. Dr. Gehl frequently speaks at schools, bringing science into many of her presentations. She lives in Maryland.
