Amanda Russell is a native East Texan who has been writing poetry for over 15 years. She studied English and Philosophy at The University of Texas at Tyler, receiving a BA in English. She worked as a writing consultant before moving to Lincoln, Nebraska. While in Lincoln, Amanda's work appeared regularly in The Lincoln Underground. Currently, she lives in New York's Hudson Valley with her husband and two children.
