A South Florida fixture for the past 50 years, Steve Kantner has walked (and fished) practically every foot of surf, pier, and canal bank that¿s accessible on foot. He has written for Salt Water Sportsman, Florida Sportsman, Fly Rod & Reel, Fly Fishing in Salt Waters, and the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, and has served as editor-at-large and opinion columnist for Florida Fishing Weekly. He is the author of Ultimate Guide to Fishing South Florida on Foot and contributed to A Passion for Tarpon and A Net Full of Tails. He lives in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
