The author was born in August 27,1981 in Kedah, Malaysia. She received her first degree in Biotechnology program at the University of Malaysia Sarawak, Malaysia in 2003. In 2004, she enrolled her Master Sciences in Plant Protection program at the Universiti Putra Malaysia and was awarded the degree two years later.
