An investigation was carried out focusing the characterization Bacterial spp in commercially available drinking water of Bangladesh. The present investigation was conducted to characterize the Bacteria species in commercially available drinking water of Bangladesh culturally, biochemically, pathogenically and antibiotic sensitivity analysis. A total of 50 bottled water samples of 10 manufacturing companies were collected from different markets in Mymensingh and Dhaka. Out of these 50 samples 4 (8%) were found to be positive for Staphylococcus aureus.
