Dr.Chanchal Bhattacharya was born in Calcutta, India in 1964.He obtained his DVM and MS-Vety. Medicine from Kharkov Zoo Veterinary Academy, Ukraine,Erstwhile USSR in 1989. He did his MVPH from AIIH&PH,Calcutta,India.He is a senior veterinarian,working in Govt.of Delhi and engaged in animal health,zoonoses and food safety programs.
