At the beginning of Barry's journey he meets four people who seem to be very likely friends for Barry. Alice, a pretty girl who he rescues on the way to the academy has a falling out with her father and joins him at the Academy. Once they arrive at the Academy they meet three others, Aldith, Alexander, and Gerard. They will all soon see that things are not as they seem at the school nor in the rest of the world. How will they react, will they follow in the footsteps of the past explorers? Or will they defend what the Academy is supposed to stand for?
