Fred Guzzi's commitment to family business began in his own family. Growing up with hardworking immigrant parents, Fred saw first-hand the value of family, the importance of contributing to community, and the inherent reward of helping others succeed. The significance of community outreach, family cohesion, work ethic, and entrepreneurial spirit have continued to be been central to how Fred lives his daily life with his family. Following his graduation from the University of Toronto, Fred began his career in wealth management. In 1998, he joined CIBC Wood Gundy as Investment Advisor. Fred's achievements were soon recognized by his appointment as First Vice-President at CIBC Wood Gundy. As a successful wealth management professional, Fred never forgot the lessons he learned from his parents, specifically the importance of connecting with people and family. In 2019, Fred received his certification as a Family Enterprise Advisor so he could focus his work on one of his true passions-the family business. Today, the Guzzi Advisory Group continues to meet the investment objectives of business owners, professionals, affluent families, foundations, charitable organizations, and associations. In keeping with the group's priority to give back to community, Fred and his associates support various charitable organizations including CIBC Children's Miracle Day, SalvAide, Mary Centre, and the Salvation Army's Project Winter Survival. The Guzzi Advisory Group's business standards have been recognized by Fred Guzzi's achievement of Chairman's Council status with the firm.
