J.D. Rajotte is a Reiki Master, Licensed Massage Therapist, and Martial Artist of over a decade. Born and raised in the lush, woodsy suburbs of Brentwood, New York; a young J.D. spent many an hour dashing through his backyard with his childhood dog, swinging sticks at his father's neatly-trimmed hedges and daydreaming about epic adventures battling robots, pirates, and ninjas. Enthralled with the world of martial arts, he started training Shaolin Kung Fu at 18, and began learning Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at 25. That same year, J.D. graduated from The New York College of Health Professions as both a Licensed Massage Therapist and a certified Reiki Master; taking with him a wealth of knowledge in both western and eastern medical practice. Suffering an injury that removed him from martial arts competition, J.D. took to writing as a creative outlet. Thus this work was born.
