In the middle east, it can be argued that in Kurdistan specifically, English language teaching has developed widely . English is being viewed as an important part of the curriculum at all school levels, institutes and universities and even in private language centers. .......... There have been many studies presented on the barriers to learning English language in English as foreign language contexts, however, only a few number of them dealt with Kurdistan. Therefore, this study was conducted to study the obstacles that made learning English language challenging in Kurdistan.
