In conducting this study, our problematic revolved around the following question: What are the barriers to accessing FP services and supplies among girls of reproductive age? In an attempt to answer this question in a way that is relevant to girls' needs, we hypothesized that access to FP services for girls of reproductive age is unsatisfactory. The purpose of this study is to identify barriers that limit access to FP services, products and methods. From an estimated population of 227 girls, we drew an occasional sample of 57 statistical units based on established selection criteria. This sample was processed by manual counting. The prospective survey method supported by the structured interview technique was used to collect data using an interview guide as an instrument. After presentation, analysis and interpretation, we obtained an overall result of 34.4%, which is considered to be well below our criterion of 70% or more. This result leads us to affirm our initial hypothesis and thus answer the research question.
