Barry Ashlin Williamson is an American attorney who served as a Republican member of the Texas Railroad Commission from 1992-1999. Originally from Arkansas, Williamson defeated the appointed incumbent Lena Guerrero, a Democrat in 1992 to win a seat on the 3-member commission. Williamson did not seek a second term on the Railroad Commission in 1998, but he instead ran unsuccessfully in the Republican primary for Texas attorney general. He lost a runoff election to John Cornyn.
