Racism is not a closed concept and defines people and groups by certain characteristics such as appearance or origin in arbitrary categories. This is recognizable in thought patterns and actions. The two must be separated if certain practices are to contain a certain motivation. Motivation in thinking is therefore decisive. The concepts of race and racism in their historical and current development are of interest for political education. A basic knowledge of political education and intercultural competence is helpful, and the study focuses on further training.
