In the contemporary era, there has been evidence of the relationship between illness and death and the lack of basic sanitation, making this problem a public health issue and a challenge of the new millennium. Poor countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America have poor infrastructure linked to sanitary exhaustion and water supply, which leads to the proliferation of water diseases in urban areas. This study assessed the cost relationship with public health and the implementation of water and sewage systems in the capital of Guinea-Bissau.
