Joe came to the "writing" party late. Although he's written many short stories, he was in his seventies, before penning and publishing his first full-length novel, a romantic mystery, "Born Yesterday" in March of 2017. He quickly followed with the second book in the series, "Battle Born." In high school and college, Joe did a lot of theater. He carried the lead or directed both plays and musicals and uses his theatrical background to create memorable characters and active dialogue in his writing.
