Autorenporträt
Shelley Pierce was born in rural Minnesota. While most of her childhood was in the Land of 10,000 Lakes, her middle-grade years were experienced in Louisiana. Growing up with influences of extreme differences continues to impact her writing. Shelley and her husband, Tommy, live in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee. It is where they raised their four children and now enjoy the gift of grandchildren. Tommy is the senior pastor of Towering Oaks Baptist Church, Greeneville TN, and Shelley serves alongside him on staff as the director of preschool and children's ministries.
