Prior to entering the business community, Joseph Medina served as the Commander of Expeditionary Strike Group THREE during a combat deployment, Commander of the Marine Corps' most complex installation comprising eight separate bases and two air stations in Asia, and Commanding General of 3rd Marine Expeditionary Brigade in Okinawa, Japan. These assignments culminated many years of service in the United States Marine Corps as well as active recognition of his abilities as a leader. Since leaving active service, Medina has switched his focus to corporate leadership, with a specific emphasis on leveraging the lessons he learned as a military leader in civilian business environment. He has served over ten years in senior corporate positions and on multiple boards of international companies.
