Some wounds run deep. Can they ever heal? Tony Slade sits in a coffee shop waiting. He is reflecting on his dark and violent past. He is waiting for the woman he loves, but he is also waiting for the man who wants him dead. Who will reach him first? The clock is ticking… Tony Slade is used to dealing with violence and death. He has made a career out of it. From boxer to bouncer, paratrooper and mercenary to minder. But now, he is getting older and he wants out. He has miraculously found love and he has one last chance at happiness, but it will come with a price. The woman he loves is not his; she belongs to a very dangerous man. A man that you don't want to cross. But Tony is ready to risk it all on one last roll of the dice before a powder keg of violence explodes. But that is not all. Unknown to him, there is another threat coming his way. One that he will not see until the last moment. Who will get out alive? Tough times call for tough people. Tony Slade is one such person.
