I have been thinking aloud, that I am destined to be a 'star.' In my state, I think talking to myself is a symptom of madness. In my search for wellness, I find life to be a personal responsibility, with or without the intervention of others. The people on show biz and other top rated occupations seem to have it all. They are stars. They have become a mirror and a standard to emulate. Majority of us crave to reach this level. Standards or none, life is a real unrehearsed irreversible drama. The experience is exciting and emotionally involving for everybody including the 'stars'. The planet earth is an amazing stage with an artistic backdrop and wonderful sceneries. To be the 'star' of this drama, we have to undergo the same procedural stages that artistes do. If we do not learn our lines and bring out the best in us through the director and producer's instructions, then our part seems frustrating. One may wonder whether it is possible to learn the lines if future is uncertain and beyond personal control. Today, doctors are dealing with diagnosis of stress related illnesses, and they virtually name every symptom. Treatment may be lengthy and involves more than one practitioner. A first consultation within the self, then from somewhere else is a step towards finding a root cause and remedy. Philosophy, science, legalism and religions may all have their own way of answering life's daunting questions. These answers may not often satisfy the hunger nor quench the thirst in the quest for life. The reasons may be differences in individuals, mindset, characteristics and issues that we personally experience in a lifetime. The disputable debate is whether God plays a role in all these. Logic too seems not to give clear-cut evidence, since, the beginning of life is still a divided opinion, and the end seems uncertain. I see connections between a force and an influence that turns life to be the way it is. If life seems this confusing, only a hope and a renewed approach can sustain and bring an everlasting award.
