Autorenporträt
I, Abi Gale Wayne was born in 1964 to Catherine Gertude Hobbs (1946-1971) and Lionel C. Hill-Ashby (1918-2009). My mother, Catherine died when I was seven years old, and so most of my childhood was spent with my maternal grandmother, Orin Hobbs; and for a shorter period with my father, Lionel C. Hill-Ashby. I am thus, the product of two cultural persuasions; 'the moral building stories' of a Christian grandmother, versus 'the wit and determination of the shrewd Businessman, my father. As a student, I excelled Literature and Visual Arts, but aspiring to be like my father, I pursued studies in Business Management.
