Emmy award winning reporter, Amanda Fox, covering the selection of the new Pope in Rome, meets a Greek lady who tells her that her brother met an angel and wants her to come back to Greece with her. Knowing that religious ferver is at an all-time high, Amanda politely dismisses her. The lady is insistant and gives Amanda her phone number. When she returns to her television studio in New York, Amanda discovers that there has been another report of an angel visitation. Against her producer's wishes, she risks her credibility and her career when she decides to investigate these reports. Unable to reach the Greek woman, Amanda follows up on the next angel sighting where she meets with a prisoner in Lima, Peru who said an angel appeared to him in his cell. His story was exactly what the Greek woman told her. More stories begin to emerge from an 80 year old woman in New Orleans, to a television evangelist, to a child on dialysis in Victoria, BC. As she investigates, complaints are coming into the station and sponsors begin to pull their advertising. Amanda is ordered to stop this investigation, but finding these witnesses to be credible, she feels the story must be told. As she continues this unbelievable story, the chilling evidence shakes her beliefs. Those who have spoken to the angels repeat the same ominous message from God: "Prepare Yourselves."
